Commuting out of Dulles

Does anyone commute out of Dulles? I am wondering if they offer employee parking if you work for an airline that isn't based there and doesn't fly there.

Any information would be great.

Don't do it. That place is worse than the worst of Airports! Now to be constructive, your company ::may:: get you a commuter pass, otherwise the parking is on your dime...

They do (or at least used to) offer commuter parking passes, however you'll most likely have to pay. I don't know how things have changed now that they have moved to a "secure" employee lot (as opposed the old one that anybody could drive into). IIRC, it was about $200/year for non-domiciled employees to park.

You might also try working out a deal with some of the local hotels to utilize their shuttle. The Fairfield, Hampton and the Holiday Inns north of the airport off of Route 28 may be able to accomodate you.

I think dulles actually cost around $350 now. I commute out of DCA, costs a little over $200, and the vans run about every 5 or 10 minutes. Quick airport to get to the gate also!
