Doubt it is Skywest, they would have used it as a recruiting tool and so would Mesa. The only airline that like to keep secrets in Horizon and they want to get rid of the RJ's they have now so its not them either.

Laxrox43 03-25-2008 08:27 PM

Colgan...

Yeah...right...

trevtt600 03-25-2008 08:28 PM

Its obviously Air Wisconsin!!

ExperimentalAB 03-25-2008 08:52 PM

Wasn't that order for G7??

ToiletDuck 03-25-2008 08:56 PM

is GoJets a far stretch?

flynavyj 03-25-2008 09:15 PM

not a stretch at all, maintenance told me they were supposed to be getting 5+ airplanes...but, they canceled their order once before, we'll see if they are able to stick this one out....and i'm sure it'll be fun to staff them.

Blueskies21 03-25-2008 09:56 PM

flynavy, speaking of gojets I heard today our buddy from school who interviewed at gojets a couple months ago took the job despite everyone telling him not to...guess he just really doesn't care....

PinnacleFO 03-26-2008 04:30 AM

It wont be an NWAirlink carrier but it still could be pinnacle for another airline. They like to keep things super secret around here.

I heard the rumor of -700's under a United banner but that was before all the airlines stated publicly they are pulling back flying. I doubt it though. Until we get a contract we cannot attract new talent and we are bleeding pilots. Plus we don't even have our -900 rates yet!

Uncle Phil didnt care in the past, so I doubt he will care about that now

I was also one of the ones that told him not to go but that's what he's doing. Go figure!!!

FL410 03-26-2008 08:35 AM

Why did they go get new ones? They could have came to the bean crunchers at Horizon and say they wanted to buy them. I bet they would get a really good deal.... Its because the Q400 is so reliable.

TonyWilliams 03-26-2008 12:10 PM

I'm not sure it is the same order, but I think I read in the Wall Street Journal that the Iraqi government ordered six CRJ's.

Ahhh the CRJ 700/900 is 30% more fuel efficient than the ERJ 175

mmaviator 03-28-2008 12:22 PM

i'll take your word for that. shoe leather express is still more efficient than that lol.
