There's no telling at this point. I've been here for six months and I'll be on reserve for at least one more - at one of our most junior bases. I suspect there are pilots in SLC and DEN who are on reserve with almost a year of seniority.

Then again, a buddy a few months ahead of me never sat reserve. Things change fast and timing is everything. Unfortunately, timing is also luck ;)

This is all true. It is all luck. If you come to the bro reserve will be short, as in nonexistent for me. I came straight to a line off IOE and next month I got 4 four day trips with 3 off in between, all month, unfortunately I would rather be sitting reserve in SLC(home) than commuting to FAT but what ya gonna do,ya gotta take what you get when your this far down the totem
