Default Pinnacle Flying Turks & Caicos Islands

http://www.regulations.gov/fdmspubli...-OST-2008-0086

Looks like Pinnacle will be flying from ATL to Turks & Caicos Islands according to this DOT filing.

Anyone have anymore information?

As I understand it, both SKW and PNCL are competing for some caribean flying (with 900's). Both are taking the steps to get certified for extended over-water operations.

Probably the same as if you were flying for Pinnacle in any other capacity.... your QOL would suck.

its funny how everyone says the qol at pinnacle sucks. yet for almost a year now i have averaged 17-19 days off a month, all weekends off. my qol is great at pinnacle. i almost feel like i don't have a job, but every few weeks someone sends me a couple hundred bucks. its funny but that is how i feel. i am at work so little sometimes i forget my sida pin and it takes me a few minutes to remember it. i don't answer the phone so i have never been junior manned. i have never been extended. my complaint is with the pay rates and some of the dumb work rules. since the lines they build me to are around 75 hours then as you can imagine the fo pay sucks. they pay me little so i work as little as i can for them. i don't pick up open time. i do the minimum required to complete my job, then i high tail it out of the airport and forget work for sometimes 2 weeks at a time. thats just the way it will be until we get a good and fair contract.

as for atlanta you would either love it or hate it right now. all you do are day trips and they trips are around 6 hours a day. so you are getting plenty of flying and home every night. for the commuter it would suck a fat one.

Not to beat a dead horse but I would stay away from Pinnacle until we get a new contract. Your QOL would suck pretty badly being a probationary FO when we walk...
