J Hooks

I have a samsonite roller board and am looking for a "j-hook" for my flight case. Anyone know where you can buy a attachable j-hook? Cant seem to find um at any of the usual place, or I'm just totally missing it. Thanks for the help.

Try your local luggage specialty store, or just ask the rampers at your airport...they will have a box full of attachments which have fallen off of suitcases.

This is so true... my current J-Hook came from the ops office in Greenville SC!

Random luggage stores around town oughta have something for you if you find yourself out of luck with the above (which is all better advice anyway LoL).

I've seen pilots and fa's using broken seatbelt extenders. They do the job and are neat looking at the same time

What kind of rollerboard are you using it with?

A 22" Swiss bag. It's not typical flight crew luggage, but I want to wear out a bag I already have before buying a new one.

Gotcha. I was just wondering if anyone has tried it with the Purdy Neat. The one that came with my bag lasted all of one week before it broke. I wasn't too pleased with that.

I can't see why it wouldn't work for a Purdy Neat bag. A j-hook is a j-hook. I can't imagine there will be "compatibility issues."

I remember reading something on their site about how they're currently designing one specifically for the Purdy Neat strap. I don't know...maybe I'll just give it a shot and see.
