No sim ?
 

My friend interviewed at rjet recently. He said written went well, HR was pretty good except for a few speeding tickets, technical with captain went great. But after the face they never offered him to fly the sim. They just said we will let u know in a week.

Has anyone heard of not doing the sim if you are a CFI and still getting hired?

I am interviewing next week and want to know what to expect.

The day of my interview all applicants without prior 121 time flew the sim who were to move on. Most of us heard whether or not we got the job while waiting for out flights home that afternoon. But it is at their discretion. Best of luck to your friend

Some people do the sim, some people don't. Usually it was broken down by if you were current 121, then no sim for you while CFI's and freight guys had to do it. Not doing the sim is by no way a deal breaker. Neither is not hearing from the company 20 minutes after you interview. I didn't find out I got the job until 5 days later via letter. It's different for everyone.

Each company has a different way of evaluating applicants. The company I work at did not have a sim evaluation during the interview and it took them a week to get back with me.
