Skyhigh has stated (and I quote him above) that he is here to preach to the newbies about the downfalls of the career. Yet he's not interested in going where the newbies are to educate them (that would be JC, not the regional forum at APC). This brings his motives into question in my view.

Well, today I flew with a CA who is a poolie from SWA, and allI can say is today was one of those days that kinda makes it all worth it. She was awesome and we had a blast, no delays tons of laughs and no violations. Like I said though I am frustrated, I love the job ;)

SkyHigh, you have my respect for having the courage to leave an industry you loved. You have my respect for seeing that love doesn't pay the bills, money does. I am just barely making it on the first year pay. I should be making at the least $40,000 for the first year, but the opinion here as that pilots aren't worth it. This is why the glory days of yore will never return.

Thank you for your support. I am here to share my experiences as a professional pilot just like everyone else. I believe that my perspective has value and that guys like me are under represented in places like this.

Hands down, the key to being happy in the airlines is to have a good sugarmama! No question about it.:D

You guys de727ups is a real prince. He and I go way back. We come from the same part of the country and know the same people. He is one of my most faithful fans memorizing my best posts and struggling in earnest to catch me in some slip up as if I was a presidential candidate. I feel good knowing that he is out there auditing my every move.

He truly loves flying and I have to hand it to him that he has greatly overshadowed the aviation accomplishments of most everyone I know. As an ever present defender of the faith he is duty bound to quench my advances. I think that the main difference between us is that he can not accept the fact that luck and circumstance probably has more to do with our collective outcomes in aviation than effort and determination. His goal is to preserve the idea that aviation is just and that he is a career winner because he knew better somehow. He is the yin to my yang and I don't know what I would do here without him. Often in defense of his position he makes my point for me. What a guy.

And, did you know that last summer he was kind enough to have delivered my Cessna 150 to me? He has a lot of bark here on the forums and I would be disappointed if he held anything back, but on a personal level I hope he knows that I am his friend and with every post I eagerly await his searing response. One of my aviation goals this summer is to fly my 150 out to see him and buy him lunch. What do you say de727ups???
