E.A.S. contracts

Anyone have information on the current Essential Air Service debacle in upstate New York and surrounding areas? Heard that Cape Air was going to start running some of the routes. Thanks for any info.

Cape Air has been awarded an EAS contract to serve Ogsdenburg (sp), Watertown, and Messina from Albany. I think the service will be 3 RT each day starting at the out station and going to ALB. We are putting a MX base in ALB and looking for both pilots and mechanics in the region. We are scheduled to start service in early Sept. PM me if you are interested.
