In this industry, every effort counts. I think sending a nice, professional thank you letter is one of the best things you could do after an interview. It shows you not only have a strong ambition to work there, but are also thankful for the opportunity you might be presented. It certainly can't hurt!

I can't disagree with that. Courtesy does go a long way, they weren't happy when i punched that stand up RJ mascot in HR in the face on my way out because i didn't think the interview went well. :)

Is it a good idea to bring the thank you letter with you, or just mail it the day or the next day after the interview?

Thank them in person at the conclusion of the interview, shake hands etc.

Then mail in the letter afterwards.

Okay, that's exactly what I was planning on doing. Thanks
