ASA Pool News?

I know that there is a class on May 5th. For those who interviewed after February, and were put into the pool, were you offered this class date, or is this class filled with people who interviewed "Pre pool"? Also, for those currently in the pool, have you heard anything from ASA regarding whether or not if you're officially in? As I understand it, people who interviewed in mid-late March, and early April have not been given any indication as to their status? Thanks!!

Correct, people that interviewed on april havent heard of their status yet...Dont know if made it to the pool or not... Dont know either if people have been intreviewed after april 15th ...

May 5th is full. I think pre-pool, but not too sure...

Cheers!

I interviewed on the 2nd of April and just got the call today that I was hired into the pool. They said they were hoping to have some info on the next class soon.

Hey people,
Due to major reduction in attrition and the integration of ATR pilots into the CRJ fleet I doubt that we will really be hiring anyone till 2009. They might take a couple here and there for classes but expect to be on reserve for a long time (greater then a year) with a longggggggg upgrade.

Silly question here...

How is "upgrade time" currently determined in ASA? Total time? Jet time? or flight time with the company?

Cheers...

I also got the call today telling me I'm officially in the pool. Also, no word on classes in the future. She did mention something about June, but said that isn't set in stone whatsoever...I'm thinking it will be sometime this summer, and I'm sure classes will be very small if there are any at all. The May 5th class is filled with ppl "pre-pooling." When are ATR pilots supposed to start going over to the jet?

Upgrade is determined by seniority. Upgrade minimums are 2000TT and 500 with the company along with ATP written (obviously)

I think a big group (12 FO's) moves over starting in August

Thanx Noodles...
