Just found out I'm going to be in this one...packing like crazy now...anyone else going to be a part of the party???

did they just bump you up at the last minute? any reason, just curious cause I'm hoping to be a few weeks behind you.

Send your app in, they're one of the few regionals still hiring. If you don't hear anything check out the job fair list on airlineapps and try to attend one, it help me out. I think they are hiring around 50 a month at the moment is my best guess.

I was supposed to initially be in the May 12th...got bumped to the 25th...i asked her to let me know if there were openings...she called and asked bc there was one opening and i took it...

I just started this past April 28th class. So far the training here is Great and the instructors are really here to help you out. You should really enjoy the training!

when you initially show up you go from the airport to the academy or the airport to the hotel??

Negative.... did the hr & tech at a job fair and got the sim next week in dallas. karen just mentioned that if the sim goes well I would be sent to the course so we'll see what happens. i'm looking forward to my texas trip regardless :D

Interviewed on 4/21...got approval on the 25th and still haven't heard anything!:cool:

The airport van will take you to the academy and you will have to switch vans. There is a van at the academy every 20 mins or so that will take you to the admiral.

you go from the airport to the academy, then usually change buses to go to the Admiral hotel...it is just on the other side of the sidewalk where you catch the bus by the sign that says training hotel.

its business casual for training, almost everyone at the flight academy is real laid back

What is the RJO course? I have worke for Eagle for 7 years and have never heard of this. I hope you are no inferring they are paying for you to get training prior to going to training.

Yes. Eagle has been paying for Jet Transition Course for selected low time candidates.

That is amazing. Why don't we take that money and raise pay to attract qualified applicants.

Last I heard the RAA and FSA RJO courses are no longer being done...

They have been paying for it for the past six months. But that appears to be coming to an end.

Your SA needs to be a little more up to speed. I'm surprised that one of your AE brothers (RJ Pilot) hasn't come down on you for your lack of breadth, and depth, regarding the actions of your illustrious organization. ;)
