In other words it's possible to get a 90 hour line, fly 98 hours and only get paid (credit) 92 hours. Also possible to go the other way as well, but not likely.
Ha. Yeah right. Cant go the other way? For the short time I was at Mesa I always got a line that was 85+ hours. But the only thing is after CX flights and weather, I never broke guarantee. I used to want to kill sitting in line at LGA or IAD knowing the leg was credit for 1:00 but already having sat there for an hour, I was now flying for free. And I wonder why I left. |

Our new monthly bonus program involves pay protection on your line in exchange for perfect attendance. We've been hitting the goals for the past 3 months, so its nice if you have a 90 hour line.

That's a step in the right direction I suppose...but most of the rest of us can call in sick, and still get pay protected.
On another note, I can imagine how productive contract talks are going. COMPANY: We're bankrupt. PILOTS: Give us money. COMPANY: We're bankrupt. PILOTS: Give us overdue money. COMPANY: We're bankrupt. |

I am by no means senior and got 16 off this month and will have 103 credited for the month with holiday pay. Something to think about..... I tell everyone, you dont have to put up with Mesa's BS. There is life after..... *edit to add* I am by no means trying to bust your chops, I'm really not. I have a few friends still at Mesa and they tell me whats up all the time. I just feel bad that you guys still have to put with all that stuff.... I really do. True story - since I have left Mesa, people comment to me all the time, asking if I was sick or something before, cause I look and act different now. The only thing that has changed is the fact that I left that place and it was like a 1000 pound gorilla off my back.... |
