Another victory for the Pinnacle Pilots

Ever since the implimentation of prefbid the company has been throwing out our vacation slide that we used to have with hard lines. it has been 10 months since the company started to violate the contract. we found out that the arbitrator said the company violated the contract and they are to return the vacation slide to its pre prefbid status. they only thing that really ****es me off though is the company has to pay NO PENALTY for violating our contract for 10 months... but we will take our victories one at a time till we have the new contract we deserve.

It has been 1011 days since the Pinnacle Pilot Agreement became amendable.

Like you said...one step at a time. Let the good news keep on coming!

Cheers!

Basically this leads to, more days off and more money!

exactly. when we did the hard lines it was really easy to work the system to get a ton of credit and still have a lot of days off for the month. last year i had vacation near the end of the month. i bid so most of the flying was at the end of the month and then slide my vacation to cover up most of the trips. i nearly had the entire month off. i was able to have 3 trips removed. it was great.

imagine how much better it will be now that we have pref bid and we can do our vacation slide. i will bid so i DESIRE work all through my vacation, then when they post the lines slide my vacation around so i can get the entire month off. i know the company is hating this right now because before they were able to work our butts off around our vacations!

Good job guys. You should all strip down, get drunk and run through the woods. :D

ThreeGreens 05-22-2008 08:32 AM

Why does Pinnalce cancel so many flights from HOU to ATL?

Such a great victory a pilot and a trolley dolly were romping in the woods in near Harrisburg, PA on a, now pardon the expression, a layover.

TO **** you off

ThreeGreens 05-22-2008 12:18 PM

Hopefully Delta will pull your contract and we will get your 900s.

either you are a newbie with SJS syndrome or you are being sarcastic. I havent read enough of your posts to tell which is the case. Hopefully it is the latter

skywatch 05-22-2008 01:29 PM

OK, I am confused...I saw the title of the thread and thought it was about the drunken, nature-loving flight crew...

ThreeGreens 05-22-2008 01:49 PM

No, I am not new. It looks like you are though; Jan08. The comment I made was in response to the smart remark that the new hire PCL FO made. I asked a serious question and received an age/seat appropriate remark. It is obvious this pilot is new because the only thing they could articulate was a sentence fragment that included profanity. Were they trying to be funny? If so then maybe they should try flightinfo.com. That crowd would be much more receptive to that level of immaturity.

I asked the question because I commute on Pinnacle and they often cancel. I am looking for an answer.

SJS? No. I could care less about flying a 700/900. I enjoy the 200 and the schedule it allowed me to hold as a FO and now as a CPT.

Thanks

The only problem with that hypothesis is that Pinnacle owns the 900s.

By the way, its always heart warming to see a fellow pilot wish ill upon another pilot group (other than Gojet).

It may not be the smartest idea to wish ill upon the pilot group that operates the flight that you commute on from HOU to ATL Mr. recently upgraded ASA CRJ 200 captain...

Wow. I ask a simple question, even giving you the benefit of the doubt, and you get bent out of shape. A simple, "yes it was sarcasm and it was directed at the previous post" would have sufficed. And by the way, to say that I am new to this flying business because I joined APC in JAN 08 is quite humorous.....
the reason I asked in the first place is because It wouldnt surprise me to hear a remark like that from this generation of pilots.

I'll be sure to remember that next time I fly from ATL-HOU-ATL and their is an ASA jumpseater...Careful what you wish for...

nicholasblonde 05-23-2008 10:11 AM

Dude...we have FedEx guys jumpseating on the 200s into Memphis all the time--they bring us Starbucks and choc. chip cookies and never complain if we're delayed and never complain if we're weight restricted and can't get them on. They are always the most courteous and grateful jumpseaters we have. Meanwhile, here you are (an ASA pilot) whining about our schedule and performance as if we OWE you something.

I only wish I knew your name so I could give to everyone I know who flies the 900 to make sure they never let you jumpseat.

PS> Considering the fact you have one of the highest-paying contracts of all the Delta feeders, and considering the fact all the RJ flying will eventually be consolidated, I would definitely watch who you're talking smack to just prior to a merger...you never know where your resume or seniority number is going to be after all the dust settles...who knows, it might be below that "new hire Pinnacle FO" one day, though I would never wish that upon anyone.

Dispatch problems . . . the aircraft are apparantly new and there are some mx issues that they have to take care of. Was just in SOC and they were 100% completion for 8 days in a row on the NW side . . . Pinnacle carries very few deferments on their aircraft apparantly.
