While I agree it isn't good until JO leaves, this guy is about one notch below him (on the dumbass scale).

I trully feel for the employees at Mesa, particularly the guys that have been there for years. All the best to those guys. The management on the other hand, well, I hope J.O. never works in the industry ever again.

I thought J.O.'s "right hand man" was the guy using it inappropriately in front of his laptop.

Have you ever heard of the Rat King when all the rats tails get tied together and fuse together to form one huge rat.

Personally, if you went to Mesa in the last 5 years.... you are just as bad as the management. ALPA or not, I would not recommend hiring you.

You guys fail to realize that the pilots willing to shortcut upgrade or work for the wages the Mesa pays are the reason your income has stalled at the unacceptable level it is currently at.

Nope.. no favors to Mesa employees. You should have walked off the job a long time ago.

I am all for an ALPA negotiated acceptable pay rate across the board based on aircraft. No matter what carrier you are under, if ALPA, management is put on notice of the fixed cost of the employee. That places management in the seat of providing the best benefits and reputation to draw in the best qualified pilot.

The CFO at Independence Air abruptly quit about 3 months before we finally closed doors. When the money guy leaves and leaves his golden parachute at the table, its a bad sign.

This is the interem guy who took over for porno Murnane. He was never given the job permanantly. I wouldnt read too much into since Lotz is taking over the position. JO controls everyone in management. :mad:

Considering what happened to Murnane it could and probably will happen to other of the corporate slobs...

Quarterly earnings not yet announced and the interim CFO leaves. What could this mean?

1.) He knows something we don't know and it ain't good...

or

2.) Knowing Mesa management's strong distrust of behaving ethically, they may have asked him to do something he felt ethically opposed to doing. So he got out. Good for him if this is the case.

Could also be a combination of the two, we'll just have to wait and see.

That does say a lot. When your one of your top dogs leave before the "late" 1Q report, the picture can not be pretty.
