Default Hiring for Skywest, Air Wisconsin and Skyway?

I am currently sitting at 1000 TT and 52ME and am wondering what the hiring looks like for skywest, air wisconsin and skyway? I know I need another 50 Multi which I am working on currently. My goal is to get on with a regional this summer. I appreciate the help.

Thanks!

Air Wisky is not hiring, I believe.

SkyWest will want more multi, so keep working on it.

SkyWay, I do not know.

AWAC is starting to interview again for classes in May & June, then as attrition warrants for the rest of the year. They will want near or above 100 hours multi unless you have specific background (turbine experience, lots of sim time, bought an RJ type, etc). Send the resume in regardless, you never know what might happen!

Good luck!

Anybody think it would be adventagous for someone w/ 500TT and 75ME and lots of Dash-8 sim time to apply? Could it hurt?

As of what I heard from my buddy at AWAC, they are only looking at resumes that come with an internal pilot recommendation.

Unless you have 100 ME, I don't think they will even consider your resume. What type of sim is it. I don't think that really counts. I have 500 total and 370 ME and I am hoping to find something soon. But 500 hours isn't alot of time, but all of the multi will hopefully help.

I have Turbine experience of about 40 hrs...so far - I know that is "pennies" compared to a lot of people. But I have opportunity to add to that. Plus the Dash-8 SIM time...I don't know - just a shot in the dark I guess?

They'll hire <100 ME (I saw one guy was hired with 1200/75) but generally you'll need more time than that. However having that sim training will look good. AWAC isn't all about TT as much as they are about attitude, personality, etc. I'd send it in; it can't hurt.

If they don't call now, maybe they will when you update it at a later date. Then when they ask "why do you want to work here" you can say you've had your app in for a year and have updated it every month or so, etc. It will look good, IMO.

I have 800TT, 200ME, 100 Turbine; and have not heard a peep from either AWAC or SkyWest. Not really expecting to hear anything from SW because of my low TT.

Hey, where'd you get all that turbine time? I am around 143multi, 760TT. No turbine. Still low time, and been working on this for a couple years now, getting restless. I am ready to move on from these simple, single engine, fixed gear, fixed prop trainers!!!!
