Passengers have VERY short memories.....remember how nice they were to us for 3-4 months after 9/11? then we're back to being the root of all the airline's evils. And remember how excited they were to get RJ's 8-15 years ago so they wouldnt be on those little puddlejumper turboprops?
I just tell them, if you want a real airplane, live in a real city...

You'll NEVER see a mainline airplane between BUF and LGA? Funny. In 1999 I flew a DC9 on that city pair. In (early) 2001 I did it again in a 737-300.

Sadly, Rakesh Gangwal used 9/11 as an excuse to darken the sky with an armada of RJs thus virtually eliminating career prospects for those of us who flew small, narrowbody, mainline equipment.

What a pitiful excuse for a reporter.....

That line is going to cause me to waste 10 minutes of my time and email this reporter to respectfully tell him he don't know sh!t.

This line is even better than the one you are complaining about!!! I know "puddle jumper" FAs are bad, but they don't usually throw the drinks and peanuts like they do in baseball games when they serve!!! What amenities? heated toilet seats?
