Not to hijack this thread or anything but i've been thinking about buying either a set of bose or Lightspeed Zulu... I've read plenty of good things about the Bose... but the fold flat capability and bluetooth/ external music source appeal to me on the Zulu... anyone flown 121 with the Zulu and could give a review or even vs. bose?

Just buy a pair of earmuffs and a bullhorn. You won't get that far away from your base airport anyways.

Anyone use the Bose Quiet Comfort 2 with the boom mic adapter on the Brasilia? Any performance reviews?

i do... bought it about 2 months ago, works awsome!, the new adapter has an audio input, so i can just turn up my ipod so i can drown out the capt yelling at me. :)

I have used the Zulu for the past 6 months and am really happy with it. Just like you said the fold flat feature and the fact it has an audio input give it the upper hand on the Bose. I don't really use the bluetooth but it is pretty slick if you had the time to talk on the ground. At 850 vs 1000 they are basically the same price. Either way you can't go wrong, but with as much time as you spend in the air it is amazing the Bose has not added some of the features that Lightspeed has.

Best advice I've ever received.

LOL! Really? You must be joking. I owned a pair of Bose X's, for their price and weight, you can have them. Yes they are great but they aren’t worth the price. JMO, but I’ll take the Bose QC2/UFLYMIC set up any day. That is unless you plan on giving be a set of Bose X’s……………then I’ll sell them on Ebay……..buy the QC2/UFLYMIC set up and pocket the profit.

BTW, if you're walking though the airports with your Bose X's on..........................LOL! That about the funniest thing I've ever heard.

Take Care.

Just curious if anyone had any experience with the UFM and E120s with the QC15s? Anyone every have any issues at OO because the headsets aren't technically TSO'd?

(sorry to resurrect a dead thread, thought it would be better than starting a new one)
