I think the writing is and has been on the wall at Piedmont for some time. I'd agree that AAG is going to need bodies, but I wouldn't put it past them to shut Piedmont down, leaving all the pilots to start over at the bottom of someone else's list. I hope this doesn't become reality, and instead they'll actually merge Piedmont with PSA or Eagle, in which case there would be an SLI. However, my hope/trust has run thin. I don't trust management to do anything that looks out for the pilot's well being, and I sure as heck don't trust the PSA pilot group to be reasonable in an SLI. Good luck to everyone, we're gonna need it.

My point was, wholly-owned consolidation would be better for Piedmont than a shutdown. Any merger is better than having no job (for most people). I'll believe Eagle getting shutdown when I see it. IMO, Eagle will be around in some form a lot longer than Piedmont will.

Not nearly as short as I thought we'd be. Still getting people to show up seems like 8ish per class.... Not sure of the success rate. All FO trips for March seem to be prm
