I don't trust management to do anything that looks out for the pilot's well being, and I sure as heck don't trust the PSA pilot group to be reasonable in an SLI. My point was, wholly-owned consolidation would be better for Piedmont than a shutdown. Any merger is better than having no job (for most people). I'll believe Eagle getting shutdown when I see it. IMO, Eagle will be around in some form a lot longer than Piedmont will.
