I hope this doesn't become reality, and instead they'll actually merge Piedmont with PSA or Eagle, in which case there would be an SLI. However, my hope/trust has run thin. I don't trust management to do anything that looks out for the pilot's well being, and I sure as heck don't trust the PSA pilot group to be reasonable in an SLI. Good luck to everyone, we're gonna need it.
Yes merge with Eagle, what??? They are going to be shutdown too, why on earth would they merge or would you want them to merge Piedmont with Eagle. That's a lot of added expense of them to merge two dying companies...

My point was, wholly-owned consolidation would be better for Piedmont than a shutdown. Any merger is better than having no job (for most people). I'll believe Eagle getting shutdown when I see it. IMO, Eagle will be around in some form a lot longer than Piedmont will.

^^^ this is my belief as well. Pdt has never presented any plans for survival- its why I left after 10 months. good luck all who are still there.

Not nearly as short as I thought we'd be. Still getting people to show up seems like 8ish per class.... Not sure of the success rate. All FO trips for March seem to be prm
