This whole back-stabbing thing is nonsense...read the history of ALPA, and why it is an "association" and not a true trade union. Therein lay the problem, and why both the ALPA national cronies and Airline corporate boardrooms have made strange bedfellows for over 30-years. Don't like? I suggest you do what other airlines have done...Formed an in-house union that is approved by the NMB. Your beef (s) are NOT with the pilots of Piedmont, and as someone pointed out earlier, fear and group-think are infectious and destructive.

I used that as an example, but the point is any of jet rates would be a pay raise despite the healthcare increase, which wouldn't even take full effect for 4 year after the first delivery. And yes I'm basing it on captain rates. The FO's and people with families will obviously have different results.
We can argue all day about numbers concerning who will be flying which fictional airplane 4 years after the first jet arrives. I was merely responding to a post about how the healthcare increase would be a net loss. The healthcare issue is about the least concerning issue of this LOA.

Now that they've established what you are, they're just haggling over your price.

Alligiant FO tops at 92.00
Delta Cap tops at 200.00
Delta FO tops at 139.00
Top paying 175 operator or 900's
Nobody is over 3 dollars more at 12 years then PDT's TA and the most is 10.00 more over another 6 years for those that have 18 year scales.
FO side maybe 3-4 dollars more at 4 year cap.
So really???? Vote no to this TA?? Really for damn 3-5 dollars an hour? The risk reward isn't close to worth it.
It will pass and that's that. American wants to get it cost down to eventually own and operate most of it's regional flying. The battle will be fought later down the road but not now. If I were at a contract carrier for American I'd be worried.
It's not a great TA but its good enough to pass for a worn out group that has been through the ringer more then once.

Nice job taking that completely out of context from like 20 pages ago. It was a response to another post that claimed the healthcare increase would negate the pay rates. It has nothing to do with how good or bad the rates are.
