This is the dilemma I'm going through right now also. It's pretty stressful

You can wish in one hand and $hite in the other... guess which will fill up first.

The PDT pilot group (MEC I believe) turned down the last bonus offered during negotiations, there's nothing promising they won't do the same this time...

All things being equal, money talks... I'd go with endeavor unless you have a past or attitude that could cause you to tank your Delta Interview.

Maybe I'll just cancel the interview. No point going to a place that's going to continue to stumble along while struggling to get any new hires.

The beauty of it is in this market you can always decide to go back to them later if there is a game changer.... That would make more sense than to go to a place in hope of improvement someplace down the line. You have to go with what you know is available.

I wouldn't go that far. Come interview, accept an offer given, and that will set you up in the cat bird's seat. If the same or better deal comes out of this, (I don't see any other choice) you are all set to start class. Get your seniority in line, it is very important in this business. There is a lot of smokescreen at the moment, and we are still figuring out what happened, but we will move forward...too much money involved.

I will say this: I've been here for over 5 years and although my emotions do get to me from time to time, I have honestly enjoyed my time here. There will be things that frustrate you no matter what airline you choose...take a look at the major threads sometime, now that is a **** show. After speaking again with some folks I trust, I believe we will get something done here. Then you will have quick movement, upgrade, the flow, decent benefits, etc...

Endeavor may give you more money, but there are no guarantees with the interview at big D, their travel benefits are not what Delta's are, etc. You could apply to Delta from PDT as well, I just heard yesterday that we had a pilot leave for there recently. PDT is small and growing, and sure we're going to **** it up from time to time but I think overall you will enjoy the small airline feel we can offer you. Feel free to PM me if you want any specifics. Good luck in your decision!

PDT will get the deal, or something like it. PDT is a good choice.

PSA's MEC Chairman recently told pilots in a conference call about the deal that Endeavor is working on. The details are not finalized, but it sounds like Endeavor is looking to raise pay across the board, with first year starting pay at $60/hr.

Right now, there are several good choices and several bad choices. PDT is a good choice. So is Endeavor (probably).

Any internal rumblings on the next hub base yet or still nothing? Last I time I asked on here LGA and DCA were the speculatory responses. Really hoping for DCA.

Also, can any commuters at PDT potentially PM me or chime in on here. The only thing stopping me from making a switch now is the fact I'd have to commute (I currently drive to work, but my base is in jeopardy). I just had a baby and I know commuting on a 4/2 average schedule would be really rough. Also, after upgrade at PDT I would likely be on permanent reserve since so many people will jump over me (-8 guys transitioning to the 145 and upgrades that I bypassed because of prior 121). Trying to get a more accurate feel if commuting would be doable at PDT or if I should continue to wait for a base announcement. Recruiting told me last week they expect to hear by the first of the year. I'm also looking at C5 since they have a home base for me (IAD), but I'd really like to come to PDT.

Thanks guys. And good luck on a new TA... I hope you guys get the best deal of the three!
