Getting Furloughed might want to consider this

10 U.S. Places to See Before You Die

The point of life is to live so take a shot while you still can.

So, Duck, you are equating getting furloughed to dying? I always thought your cup is half full, not half empty? ;)

Somewhere in Duck’s head there are two brain cells fighting for control……………………………and they're both losing. :p

Note: just playing duck.

Looks like duck isn't the only one. I do believe that should be "they're," as in they are both losing.

Figured I could pick on you too jetjock.

Back on subject though, I wish I could take advantage of the travel privileges a little more than I do. Problem with only have ten days off a month would be that I all I want to do is spend them at home. Luckily home is the beach :)

Maybe good advice for senior line holders, but what you're forgetting about the furloughed guys is we're not getting paychecks anymore. This tends to take a toll on vacations. Also, when you're not getting a paycheck anymore the savings you have are all the money you're likely to have until you become reemployed. Since we don't know when we're going to get reemployed advising people to blow their savings on vacations is perhaps a bad suggestion. Of course some people may have more savings than I, or may have married a woman who makes more money.... maybe I should have thought that thru.

The main difference between Duck's battle and mine is that my two brain cells have called a truce and are now worthless.;)

I didn't write the article lol.

As far as spending money goes one of the reasons I like this article is because you don't really have to spend much. These aren't amusement parks or resorts. Just a few places that are a sight for sore eyes.

That's just how it appears. One always wins. I nicknamed him Odysseus Maximus. Have to do something entertaining with all those cells I wasted on college and don't use.
