Back in my Jetstream days, many a passenger would ask me "is this thing safe?" It was also a common occurance for a passenger to change his or her mind about flying that day.

To be honest, the best question I was asked back then was "how old are you?" espeically since I was working my first job after graduating from ERAU.

On the birds I flew you could fill up the seats and have about 25-28 bags depending on many factors. Once you got over 28 bags it was time to bump pax.

Its funny in CLT to park next to a dash and watchin people come out of the common door and just head straight to the jet even though they were told to follow the white line or whatever. Then when our FA's send over to the dash they freak out or have a priceless look on there face.

NOTHING against the dash's at all, in fact i'll admit they are wider and more comfortable than the RJ2 in my opinion but its funny as hell to watch it happen and watch them freak out when they pretty much know the only thing going into their small town airports.

She was dead serious. The only thing that came to mind to say in response was, "I don't know, but we might be able to leave before they get here because we fit through the holes in the clouds better." She was completely satisfied with that response.

Last year there was a Skyway party there with 3 Beeches and 2 328s. I think they did send a 717 there for everybody in the morning. Midwest even bough rooms for the pax! No joke! I couldn't bring my self to look in the terminal windows as we all cranked up and repo'd to our overnights.

It's interesting how the behavior of ants and passengers is indistinguishable on the ramp.
