are you already down here?
Do you have a car?
if the answer is no then i recommend you get a apartment on isla verde because the taxis are a cheaper flat rate and you can take the buss dirt cheap if it is working.

I am not already there and I wont have a car.
I have seen apartments on craigslist for at least 5-600 usd/month.
a bit too much for my taste. do u know of anything cheaper by any chance?
