This was a partner of ours, this is a guy who sat at my table who knew my family who came to my house for parties," said Ornstein. "He owes us almost 400-thousand dollars for example for fuel he hasn't paid for that we fronted him."
"Here's a guy that when we met had never flown in schedule service, we put him into business, our brand our marketing our technology our money and he sort of built up his business and decided to I guess--I presume effectively abandon our franchise," said Ornstein.
"I think it's really bad karma for Bill who befriended me and asked to be our partner who we've loaned money to, who we've built his business on our platform and I think when you do things like this that in my opinion are somewhat less than straight up I think in the end that comes back to bite you," said Ornstein.

There is justice in the world, Bill Boyer (I believe) used to be a ramper for AK Air that got the axe in that double-cross in Seattle, and (I know) he also "invented" the Dig-E Player they use on their longer hauls. Now he owns his own airline and is taking down go!, love it.

They could not have done this as easily without Boyer in place, also the agreement is that Boyer's company is paying RAH for the operation of the aircraft regardless of actual loads, Boyer is the one who will be required to sell the tickets, RAH can fly the jets for him all year and never see a passenger, he would still have to pay for the operation of the aircraft.

Hahaha, I love it! Keep in mind, however, many have come and gone in Hawaii and I really don't hold out much hope that this RAH deal is going to be any better. Doesn't sound very well put together.
Good stuff none the less.

If there's anything you can bank on it's that BB isn't getting in a deal unless he knows there's profit. One way or another. He could be after assets I'm not sure but I am sure he's going to make money. This wasn't something in dire need. The company was already situated, furloughs etc, to keep those planes parked and still pull a profit. For this to happen there's a diamond hidden in the rough out there somewhere.

The diamond in the rough is undercutting an already shaky Go! operation and dominating the inter-island routes. J.O. is a moron for thinking Go! will ever succeed. My guess is he'll wager all of Mesa on the Go! operation purely out of ego for his 'own airline'.
