How they decide what ac you get? Need? or do you get a preference if there is one? also how soon after you start training do you get travel benefits? thanks

Whatever they have an opening for is what you will get, you will choose bases in class based on seniority (birthday). Travel benefits start day one of class, CASS approval usually takes around 1-2 weeks.

Anyone hired for the Oct 6th class? Have you received your airplane assignment yet? I was told we would receive the POH about 2 weeks prior.

Saluki2004, were you hired for the CRJ200 or is that your airplane prior to XJ? My interview is tomorrow.

I was in the crj200 prior to going to mesaba, I havent got my plane assignment for mesaba yet. It is either the crj900 or the saab for my class.

How long after you applied did you get your interview call?

it took 2-3 weeks before I heard anything. I had applied back in Jan 2008 and turned down an interview because I was hired by PSA. So I updated my application and contacted them stating that I would like to interview now. I guess mine was a little different. Other guys that applied that I know took about 2 weeks, but they are apparently being very selective who they interview.

if you have an interview next wed, you could possibly get the Oct 6th class. They asked if I wanted the Sept 22nd, but I turned it down.
