Do you have to pay to non-rev your own airline?
How many of you out there have to pay to non-rev on your own or parent airline? For example, at Eagle, we have to pay to non-rev on Eagle or American flights. Its based on the number of miles you fly. Granted we only have to do it for the first 5 years, but still...
What I want to know is how many companies have this ridiculous policy? I can ride for free on any other airlines but the one I work for! And anyone else can ride my airline for free? So is it just AMR or others too? Thanks |
Pinnacle ATL pilots get benefits on DELTA and have to pay a fee to nonrev based on mileage. It's a really stupid deal, and hopefully the NW nonrev policy will remain in effect after the merger.

I am at XJ and we don't pay unless we get a first class boarding ticket.

Comair and has to pay a $50 annual fee for all DL and DCI nonreving
|
EV guys pay $50 a year for unlimited travel on Delta.
|
I'm back to COEX, it's 12.50 dep to dest in coach if passriding. Don't know what int'l is. We also get allocated a certain number of "vacation passes" per year which are free, whether you are in first or not.
DAL was a flat $50 a year for unlimited, coach or first. Int'l we were given a certain amount of "international travel days" per year. Going to Europe burned 2 of the days since it technically took place on 2 days. Coming back burns 1 day. We weren't wholly owned, maybe COMAIR has a better deal. |

From what I've been hearing from friends at Delta and DCI, they are going to stick with the Delta nonrev bennies post merger. Mesaba and Compass will receive the same bennies as Delta mainline. |
At Compass we have free coach, but have to pay 32 dollars for first on all Northwest carriers.
|
pinnacle is free in coach on nwa, pinnacle, compass, and mesaba flights. first class will cost i think 32 dollars.
|
RAH is free on all usair and united flights however we have to pay the 50 bucks a year on delta and ive heard rumors of a zed type fair on CAL but i have no expierence with it
