Question Noise Canceling Headsets

I fly the Brasilia and have great hearing. I want to continue both. Any recommendations on a good ENC headset? I like David Clarks but don't know of any drawbacks to one model over another. Any suggestions?

I love my Bose. Noise canceling headsets rely on clamping pressure so they can get a little uncomfortable on long flights. I know there are in-ear canceling headsets out there but I don't have any experience with them, maybe someone else can shed some light....

I have used a bose a number of times and the clamping pressure is only a fraction of my old DC's. they are amazing on long flights.

Check out Clarity Aloft™ Aviation Headsets. I use the Pro and love it. I fly long haul international and it doesn't get uncomfortable over several hours the way every over-the-head type that I've ever worn does. I used to use a Sennheiser and it wasn't too bad, but I like the CA Pro better.

I have the DC X11's , not very happy with them. Battery life averages 6 hrs, no exageration. Check out the Zulu's or Bose.

I have been using the Bose QC2s with the Uflymike adapter works great, transitioned from Beech 1900 to 170 and works great on both planes!

i would suggest lightspeed headsets, great value for the price. the only complaint i have is the plastic they use. after about 2 years it started to crack and i had to send it back to the factory. if im not mistaken it has more ANR than the bose headsets. plus the big foam ear cups are really comfortable.

Thats the same reason I sent them back as well!

That and if you really want them to reduce sound you have to squeeze them on your head really tight.

If you have the money go with either the Zulu or the X hands down.

I don't think Zulu are TSO approved. Check with your company.
