The TA hasn't passed yet, bud.

I don't think people with my seniority (2.5 years) and older are going to vote yes. It's only the young guys (like the guy on this thread) who see something in this offer.

I don't care if its progress, everyone knows we've needed more than that for a long time.

I liked the other post better. You shouldn't have deleted it

Better idea: When you get the TA you really want, tell JO you'll sign it the day after he resigns. You can't compromise with cancer--it has to be eliminated.

i truly hope the mesa group of pilots takes into consideration the following before signing a deal:

over the past 12 years i have been in the industry mesa has:

-consistantly been laughed and ripped on radio calls
-ignored in and out of terminal buildings
-the dirt regional to go to during all small airport hangar rat conversations
-destroyed the working agreement at any other regional carrier that tried to better their working agreement
-put an end to an era at aloha
-tied up ramp space and hurt other pilots on/in time performance with their (mesa) broken planes
-embarresed and hurt the industry with the unprofessionalism of their pilot group with their dirty uniforms, untucked shirt tails, and scrubby faces.
=need i go on?

its time for respect and you need to tell john o. and your mec that reached this t.a. to go back to the table. myself and thousands of other pilots got in this industry to make money and get the respect we have earned. although not everyone has to be that way....at least act like it. things are tough now...but no one else in the industry is saying, 'well maybe next time around we can do better" everyone is fed up so join the rest of us and help out and gain some respect.

Very good point sir. Couple of months ago in ORD good old SkyPest were fighting and bickering with me on the ramp, cutting me off, and actually made some obscene gestures. I may or may not have returned the favor, but these guys were dicks. They step on our radio calls when we are checking into center and laugh about it. Oh, but I forgot since SkyPest pilots are sooooo much better than us Mesa guys it makes it okay.

I see and hear a lot of other regional guys doing and saying things about Mesa that just bugs me. They talk all kinds of crap behind our backs until they want our jumpseat to get home. If I had it my way, I'd tell half of them no, but I always support the captains decision anyways. I may give some of them an earful about it though before they take their seat... but usually I just try to kill them with kindness. Those that act like children should be treated like children IMO!

But, even if we get the BEST contract out there, they'll still blame us for everything, and hate us forever. I have just gotten to the point where I don't care about them anymore. I enjoy the guys I fly with, I enjoy my passengers, I don't have too many Mx issues, and I enjoy going to work. I have a huge problem with people who hate my company more than I do.

Actually, if the TA is what is being alluded to, I think it's exactly what the Mesa pilots deserve.......................if they vote it acceptable.

If they do, then we can finally lay to rest for eternity, the reality of being a "Mesa" pilot. They'll cement their feet into the cinderblocks of loserdom and fling themselves over the side of the Good Ship Ornstein.

Sadly ALPA national is representing this a long awaited "improvement" for Mesa pilots, so either they are accurate or (more likely) once again full of self-serving political B.S.

If it's a truly good T.A., fine, but if it's a turd in a mink coat, then again I say Mesa pilots deserve it if they accept it.

It will be interesting to watch...................
