Whats the Word at ASA?
 

They called today for a March class date. Where do they base, what is the outlook. Would you leave one company with crap work rules but a steady outlook for more crap work rules for another?

I see second year FO pay is pretty good at the moment, is that going to suck soon like the others do or not?

Bases are either ATL or SLC. More than likely, you'll go to the 50 seater in ATL. SLC is very senior, although there are some junior guys there. But rumor has it, and it is all but confirmed, that SLC will be shutting down before year's end at the latest. Pay is decent after the first year, but could be more of course. Management is currently after us to take paycuts in order to get more airplanes on property, which the pilot group is not willing to do, but that's a whole different thread.

Lets see, ASA is among the worst in on time performance, customer service, baggage, and flies exclusively for the airline voted "Most likely to die in a year."

By all means, pay raises across the board are on order.
