Did you get to ask him what they are looking for in particular? I'm just wondering, since I feel like I have the qualification to may be have an opportunity to have an interview; and no, I don't think i'm entitled to an interview

No I didn't ask him anything like that. Figured I didn't want to push anything, so I mostly said I was just following up on my app and asked if he had any insight as to how long it takes to get a response.

Does anyone know the average upgrade time at Mesaba? Are upgrades based on seniority only, or do you have to have time requirements at Mesaba to qualify (meaning total time flown at Mesaba)? I've also heard rumors of growth, but then also rumors of downsizing with the merger...any thoughts?

We've been hiring for airplanes that we don't have for the last 2 months. So if we are downsizing its bad news... but because of this its also unlikely.

All the people in my upgrade class have been here since last May. Subsequent classes look like June 07 people and possibly into July 07.
