Honestly I'm tired of hearing it.....
 

This whole TSA/GoJet is starting to get a little out of control. First, I honestly feel for you guys/gals at TSA and understand the history behind GJ. We all have heard it over and over in the threads. But what is YOUR MEC doing about it?? Stickers are pretty but don't do a dam thing.

Me and other regional pilots want to know, what can we do to help????

I know people (myself included) that would have no problem dropping 5,10,15, or even 20 dollars to help contribute to your cause. For more legal action and such. Not only would it benefit you but us in the long run.

I'm tired of hearing finger pointing. YES, I know that GJ pilots are considered scabs to most TSA guys/gals and others but the B!tchin' needs to be over and action needs to be taken.

Soooo...you were so tired of hearing about the TSA/GJ stuff that you started another thread about not wanting to hear about the TSA/GJ stuff? Does not compute...

Da Magic: Thank you for your vote of confidence and offering monetary support. Hopefully the MEC will find a way for all of us to start doing something as opposed to just talking about doing something. If I hear something, I will let you know.

THEN GET OFF THE DAMN FORUM. Then you won't have to see it.

Chill out homie, Da Magic is trying to do something positive for us and you are treating him like he just spit in your face. If he wants to help, let him. But like I said five minutes ago: If you got nothing positive or beneficial to add, please, be quiet. :o

Three simple steps all of us can take.

1) If you get a mainline job, or are flying mainline, spread the word. It is amazing how many GoJet pilots are moving on to bigger and better things. This is unacceptable and must end.
2)If you are an alumni of a flight school, a freight company, military, whatever, make sure you spend some time telling others why it is worth holding out for certain airlines.
3) Contrary to the original post, we need to keep up this discussion because it reinforces our point: pilots that put themselves over other pilots will have to face their peers.

The regional jet career is no longer a 2 year stepping stone; time to make sure each GoJet pilot is ASHAMED of who he/she is for the next 5-10 years.

u guys really need to learn to worry about yourself and not kill each other. feel free to insult me by my statement. but if your smart you will realize it really doesnt matter. and dont say that it does because if you think it does and u cant do anything about it. then it still....doesnt matter

I agree with Da Magic's original post. The best forums are those where pilots actually help each other instead of using middle school playground antics to bully, call names, and put people down. The big point is, you can't blame the pilots for decisions of corporations. Many of the people bashing "scabs" would probably also take the job if they had similar circumstances. Many may have entered the industry at one of the non-union airlines that they then turn around and spend so much time bashing. If someone used to work at one of those places, don't bash the current pilots for being "stupid" if you did the same thing.
With that said, there is a positive way to deal with these issues and educate entry level pilots on the consequences of their choices. If we cannot come together, then we are not helping anything. Those who would seek to keep downward pressure on our pay, benefits, retirement plans, and QOL are the only ones who benefit from our bickering. Let's keep this positive.

Easy there chief! I have been nothing but supportive in every other "TSA in the crapper" thread so go ahead and take a step back. When you strip off the sarcasm, what I was getting at was this:
1) If the thread starter is truly and deeply annoyed at the amount of TSA/GJ stuff being posted lately then make an intelligent choice and DO NOT open any thread with TSA and/or GJ in the title.
2) I appreciate the OP's desire to help but this thread is probably better off as part of the other TSA/GJ threads that are going at the present time. At the very least, it would be better served by having a less asinine title.

yeah i could have, and even considered it. but i feel the issue is a little bit bigger than starting a new thread on APC. it wouldnt have received the attention.

that said, i'm just trying to see a means to an end and if there is a way to help
