I also have an interview on the 19th with fins. The one question out the of twelve that XJT sent via e-mail was your total time in the last 6 months, and how much multi time in the last 6 months. I think XJT is huge on that, I had 300TT in last 6 months and 80ME in last 6 months, another CFI at my college had same exact hours as me 1000TT but only 50 hours in last 6 months. He did not get the interview.

They want to see that you have been flying recently. I think I only had 150tt 100multi in the previous 6months. And those hours were only in the previous 3 months really. Before that I had taken a long time off from flying. I do not remember that they specifically asked for it, but recency is a big deal for them (so it seems)

I agree that the recent flight time is probably important. They want us to list total time and ME time in the last six months as part of the very large paperwork package to bring to interview. FYI I have about 300tt/70me in the last 6 months

Is that in your GOM or is that just how long it takes?

Our FOM contains no flight time or calendar time limitations. That's just what it's been averaging on the last few system bids.

Gopdamn it man there is a requirement! You have to have an ATP, you must be 23. If there were no requirements, then everyone would be captain! You and your slow logic Punkpilot, somday youll pay for this.

Is there an atp requiremnet to upgrade at your company? Most others (even my cheap one) will pay for your type ride before you upgrade BUT before you are allowed to upgrade you have to have 4000tt (less if you have a little time with the comp.). Sure if you have that your senority says you have to wait two years till the guys infront of you upgrade but that doesnt make i t a requirement.
