With your hours you probably would have no trouble finding a corporate job.
Wow, not sure where to start on this one. To the best of my knowledge XJT does not just hire academy guys. Seems like they want a wide range of experience, both in and out of flying. My class had guys with times ranging from 500TT to 5000TT. Skywest does historically hire the higher time guys but Pinnacle loves low time and PFT guys because they don't know any better and they don't have many options when they see how crappy Pinnacle is. The only reason Pinnacle likes high time guys is because their FOs have trouble sticking around long enough to upgrade and they need bodies in the CA seat. I do have to agree with BURflyer though, go find yourself a cushy corporate job.

OK, here's the deal with Express: To upgrade, you need to meet the FAR requirements for the issuance of an ATP certificate, have passed the ATP knowledge exam, and have the seniority to hold Captain on a system bid. The Company takes care of the rest.

I'm not saying you can be a comerical pilot captain. All I'm saying is you can get your captain check can count for your atp ride. Then you will be an atp. You don't have to be an atp until after you upgrade so its not a requirement to upgrade. But if you work for a company that you have to have 4000 total time to upgrade its almost as if you would have to work to not meet atp mins. Ya'll need to calm down. Maybe I missunderstood someone elses post but there is no need to get all huffy.

Not to apply but they prefer you have it by the interview (they want copies) or you can bring in proof of having applied for it. You definitely need it when you show up for training though.

Seems that punkpilot has a consistent problem trying to effectively convey a point
