eh i poked around some more today and there is no truth to this rumor...just a rumor as i suspected...

some more flying would be nice though...then i wouldn't have to sit in the crew room and listen to this flight attendent tell me about keeping positive and steering my energy in the right direction...

i feel ya. i'm sittin standby in BOS for the first time in years and the tv goes back and forth from 'days of our lives' and 'maury'......... i dont know how those guys can do this sh!t for months on end

So I am in LGA on RSV and I disagree with the comment about us flying a lot. The majority of us have been sitting 6 days on with no flying. I did get a 3 day while on S1 (thanks to the FO that called in sick, i needed that per diem) otherwise nothing. We do get to see ORD fo's deadheading in to fly trips out of LGA. Someone explain that one..

Yes, there is truth to it, but not all at once. The TSA flying, along with the airplanes will be about 1300 extra hours not previously anticipated prior to the vacancy/displacement bid... BUT, the planes are only going to come at a rate of two per month, so it will be May before the full 1300 hours is back where it belongs..... if they don't wreck anymore of them that is.
