ASA: Leather Jacket
To all the people in the know, what's the 411 on the ASA Perrone jacket? I'm thinking about getting one, but $400 dollars damn! I can't afford it but Christmas is rolling on around. Anyways, just want some opinions on it before I drop some cash toward it... Thanks

I got a leather jacket. It is very similar to the ASA leather jacket... except for the "Comair" logo on the inside of the jacket.... and my name on the inside jacket pocket.... and yeah...

I had the Perrone leather jacket when I was at Skywest. I had it over seven years and the thing is bulletproof. It's expensive, but well worth the cost in my opinion. Another nice thing about the jacket is that it's very warm, and you won't have to pack an extra jacket on Winter layovers. Just take off the epaulettes and nametag. Perrone is also very good about supporting their product and will take care of you if something does break on the jacket. Hope this helps!

You absolutely must get the leather jacket, especially if you look as good as I do in leather. It will keep you warm. If it doesn't, but you look good in it, you'll have your choice of partners to help keep you warm. MMMmmmm...

The Jacket
As a commuter, the leather jacket has been invaluable to me. It enables me to pack less and I don't look like a serial killer when I'm on trips in civvies with only my overcoat available.:) It is expensive, but I purchased mine 6 years ago and it still looks great. If you commute and can stomach the initial expense, I highly recommend it. Even if you don't commute, as stated above it is quite warm and much more comfortable than a blazer and overcoat. Good luck!

I concur with everyone; the jacket looks great and is very warm, especially if you get it with the removable liner.
ASA should be able to payroll deduct it in small amounts so that the cost isn't quite as devastating on first or second year pay. |
The Leather is absolutely necessary....really LoL. Payroll deduct and enjoy!

If anyone needs a gently used Medium for a fraction of the cost PM me.
