I have to agree. There should be no need to wear your uniform. All that will do is draw undue attention to yourself... Something you NEVER want to do in ANY developing country (its not PC to say "third world" anymore btw). Furthermore, by presenting a badge which the locals have never seen, you'll just arouse suspicion. As mentioned above its also entirely possible that you may be violating local laws by doing so. And from an even more practical standpoint, they more than likely serve free wine on Air France, so why would anyone want to be in uniform? Don't worry about it man. Air France is a reputable company that would in all likelyhood ensure that properly trained personnel are staffing every outstation. You'll be fine.

Get ALL of your shots and bring your own syringes. No joke. You don't want to end up in a congo hospital getting a reused needle for an infection you caught. :eek:
