Congrats and thanks to everyone that supported the Colgan Pilots. 313/449, 70% shows management the seriousness of the pilot group. Strength in numbers!

From what I understand, neither the pilots nor management can make changes during the period from after certification to a contract. No new policies can be setforth from management's side and the pilots can't organize a strike/sick out. It must remain the same, there can be no "punishment."

for some reason I seriously doubt that will stop management from "punishing" the pilots in some way or another ... but yes, congrats!! and cheers to a hard fought and well deserved victory!!

Yes, you are now in status quo. There are some exceptions but for the most part they cannot unilaterally change any existing policies without negotiating it first.

Congrats fellas, nicely done. I wish I could have seen the faces on management when they found out the results.

Once again congrats, and nicely done :)

Congrats guys and gals! Welcome aboard! It will probably be a little shaky at first, but once you have a contract in place, you'll see the difference. It's worth it!

Hope it works out. Guess it's better than what you had.

I doubt they were the least surprised. The look of shock was when the vote failed the first time.
