I haven't heard the rumor that we were recalling all furloughs... I dont see how they would unless we pick up some more flying from who knows where.

To fly the 190's probably!!!

we have recalled through 2/4/08 hires, but we still have a bunch hired after that on furlough that have not heard anything from the company.

Haven't heard anything from the Mothership here in IND as far as recalls or even new flying, although mx says that they have received new equipment that they didnt have before.

Airways is close to their min shells number (per the transition agreement) on both east and west sides. I highly doubt the 190s are going to RPA.

I hope the furlougees get recalled though!

There are still a few 2/4 hires that are waiting for a call. My sim partner is one of them.

Yes, they called more than originally expected and moved the class up two days. I got some pretty frantic calls from HR because they wanted me to come back sooner than the time frame mandated in the contract.

And I for one hope we don't get the 190s. Keep them at mainline. Perhaps some of the east flying that Mesa is losing is what we might be getting...

That is my Christmas wish! We all lose otherwise.

When I see the memo on the intranet announcing the recalls I'll believe it.

Talked to an auditor for us (republic) and he said from the talks with embraer we are getting the 190's. As of when or if it's true I have no idea. Only time will tell.

Case in point. When you see your name on the release you'll know it's true.

I heard that Ferris passed out at 31 flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious

I'm one of the people that got a recall letter last week. In the House that Bedford Built 1/13 to get back up to speed.

Congrats Pip.... glad to hear that the furlough wasnt too long.... hopefully things open up a little more in the near future so some of us can join in at the bottom.. haha

Thanks guys! In a round about way it was good timing. I would have never been home for Christmas and Thanksgiving had I not been on the street. The scramble to find a job, then a second one when the first didn't pan out is something I could do without for a while. Being single and on first year pay made it easier. I can't imagine facing this with kids, mortgages, etc. It has definitely made me take a long hard look at my finances with an emphasis on my savings (or lack thereof).

There are still a lot of guys here that are furloughed, and I have friends at other airlines who are as well. Hopefully it turns around for all of us soon.
