With this being the first time in ASA's history that a furlough has occured, what have you been doing to help out your fellow brothers/sisters about to go on the street in feb ?

Maybe i'm missing something. But, what does the furlough have to do with open time again? Sucks for the 80 pilots and I hope the ones that stick it out come back soon. Please don't go to lindbergh...

I'm about as confused about your post as you must be trying to turn left at a stop sign.

Are you serious? Picking up open time masks the need for pilots, basically prevents a recall since everyone else is covering for the shortage.

And yes stay as far away as you can from gojets.

Good luck with this guys. Once we were on the street at XJT nobody seemed to care about any of this stuff.

Really, so with your fictional ccs access you've been able to keep tabs, on who's picking up anything. It may surprise you to know that most guys are only grabbing stuff out of advertise.

I still have CCS access, but that's beside the point...

If they're only picking up advertise time, that's great. But I've seen this discussed over and over on the forum-that-shall-be-left-unnamed, and just about everyone tries to justify the picking up of open time in some way. Of course that forum isn't a 100% picture of the pilot group, but there are people out there doing it as we speak.

So, you got your information from another forum (that’s notoriously known for being wrong)? And now you're misrepresenting your peers that are consciously trying to make a living on less hours in the name of the 347 who are out? That's very classy of you, and yes I take it very personally. Sure there are a few individuals out there no doubts, picking up open time, but the majority of your peers are honoring the "no pick up open time" rule. The least you can do is not make us look bad on this forum.

He means you should never pickup open time when you have brothers and sisters on the street. But I guess you guys do not care.
