Default Blackberry Storm & crewtrac

I'm not much of a cell phone addict, but I've been looking for something good to check weather, pay bills, and email on the road. I've just had basic flip phones for 12 years and I looked at the Storm at a Verizon store today. I've been told by folks at work with this phone that you can view your schedule on crewtrac; however, the store model I demoed wouldn't do it. It just said something like "image not compatible with browser" when I clicked on "view schedule" to see my Jan '09 stuff. What am I missing?

Anyone else have this phone? Likes/dislikes? Perhaps there's something different out there I should be looking at? I have no plans of switching from Verizon.

Its seems to be a problem with the way Pinnacle has crewtrac configured.

Mesaba's crewtrac works fine with any browser....

I have an HTC Smartphone and it lets me log on to Pinnacle Crewtrac, and view schedules and do everything except checkin.

Maybe try a different smartphone other than the Storm. Also, I am using Skyfire, which is an awesome mobile browser you can download for free on to any smartphone.

My impression of Pinnacle's CrewTrac is that you need Internet Explorer to utilize its functionality.
There is currently no version of Internet Explorer released for Blackberrys.

I have a iPhone and works good on Crewtrac at PNCL...but they lock out the check in feature to those using any cellphone to check in.

Apparently there is for the Storm. A friend of mine with this phone has the option to enable IE with scripts and the crewtrac website works like it would on a desktop.
