Oh come on guys, colgan is alpo now. Its great isn't it? you're all brothers n' crap and another alpo airline got more planes, you should be happy. At least it wasn't those evil non-union scab lovers at skywest. Right?

At least Colgan Pilots have Balls, unlike you and your non-ALPA voting SkyWest brothers and sisters

None of us 60+% regret it and certanly not me. We're still better than just about all alpo regionals.

Well you guys do fly those things for some rock bottom prices, what the lowest 70+ seat pay in the country I think?
Now dont get me wrong I think the CRJ200 is a hog also, but those planes should be coming to 9E, not Colgan.
But then again maybe they will shorty.
50% more than 50=75... 50%x50=25+50=75
Congrats to Colgan. Nice to see some good news out there. hope it continues for you and hope we'll all be together soon.

I think the poster meant the Q400 holds roughly 1.5 times as many pax than the CRJ200.

If you want to criticize the pilot group of Colgan for the rates that the Q400 is flown for, do it after we have signed a legally binding contract; not while we are in the midst of setting up our permanent MEC structure in anticipation of negiotiating better rates.

They should be coming to 9E? ... um ... why exactly? Because Pinnacle Corp. owns us now? Because they pay our bills? Because they pay our pilots? If you want to use that argument, then you should have just said Colgan shouldn't exist and all of our assets and pilots should be 9E.

That's just like saying that ASA shouldn't get anymore aircraft because they're owned by Skywest ...

We don't pick the wages we earn pal ... but since we're now ALPA hopefully we can increase our pay at least a little and now fly a 74 seat aircraft for literally the lowest prices in the industry.

So funny you try and bust someone about bad math when you think that 50% more passengers is 100 passengers.

But 50% more would be 75 passengers and the Q only hold 74...looks like you showed him

You are giving your pilot group a bad name, again. We as a group voted in ALPA to improve Q payrates and QOL and look forward to building a strong relationship with our Pinnacle counterparts. You can stomp your feet all you want but poor attitude does nobody any good.

Dude I failed algebra, but %50 more seats of 50 is 75. Anyway your right about the pay rates. They are pathetic.

I've been commuting for a while now from southern california, and keep on hearing Continental opening up there lax pilot base again. While this is a rumor, what are your thoughts that those additional 15 Q400's might be used out there for feeding mainline?

The only thing I've heard about LAX is flying for United ... and that's only complete rumor
