CHautauqua PC

I am returning from LOA and I am over my 90 day landing currency and need a PC. I just had one at the end of Sept. Will they do an oral and a full PC again?

any reason not to post this on the company's website. curious as to how someone within the APC crowd could give you a better answer than the guys you work with?

buffalopilot 01-27-2009 09:35 AM

I used to post there but they started a fee for it so I didnt pay it. Also there are CHQ guys here.

how about signing up for the FREE union website?

provides the exact same format to ask questions and get direct relevant answers in return?

How about you just answer the guys question? I'm sure there are a few dozen CHQ pilots on here that could help him out.

Geez...

Im not sure never done the LOA. Im assuming you just go and get current in the SIM but I may be wrong.

Im going to do the RNAV training tomorrow in MCO and will ask the instructor.

that actually was my answer to the question, pointing him towards a better resource to have his question answered.

i get a little uneasy everytime a CHQ or RP thread gets started as we know the ultimate direction it will go.

Agreed %100. The union is itching to get people signed up for the website. That unfortunately is their best means of communication. Why not use a resource that checkairmen frequent, rather than a fickle website where you get bashed by catty FOs from other companies. There is also a (free) public forum on rp.org

Your answer will be posted on the union site. We still have FO's that think there are no furloughs going on because they are not signed up..

$10 to help keep a site that a former employee puts a lot of time and effort into keeping up? That's pretty lame.

You really can't call it "free" but you're paying for it anyway. Wouldn't hurt to check it once in a while. Always amazes me that people complain they don't know what's going on when there's an easy way to find out or get a question answered. The EXCO is doing a pretty good job of giving prompt responses.
