They have been released. I don't have the names, but you can find them in the latest ALPA National email.
Dont really check my email, just asked my rep about it and he said he would get back to me.

The family of Captain Joseph Zuffoletto will be holding a memorial service in his honor on Thursday, February 19th, at the Immaculate Conception Church in East Aurora, NY (near BUF) at 11 am.

I'm not exactly sure where this is located, so if someone can get the address (there are about 5 that come up when I go to google maps) and post it, I'd be greatful.

HEY MODS:

You know, these threads get SO many posts in them (very quickly), and I'm finding it very tedious to go through them all. Can we possibly create a locked sticky thread with just the information for the memorial services in it? That way when we get new information one of you guys could add to it? I am trying to plan on attending as many as I can, so the information would be very helpful to me. I'm working right now, and from the time I leave LGA today til the time I get to CAE, there will be so many new posts, and the internet connection in these hotels is not that great sometimes. Anyways, just check and see if this could be a possibility. Thanks! :)

Can someone let me know if there is some sort of RSVP that I'll need to make. Like I said, I'm planning on attending, and I'm trying to gather some more of my coworkers who want to come as well. I'm not very experienced when it comes to funerals, so if anyone has any suggestions on protocol for this types of events, that would be helpful to. I hope I'm not sounding too abrasive - I just want to make sure I'm respectful as possible. I feel it is very important to show my deep support for those families, friends and our Colgan extended family as well.

Feel free to PM me as well, you can call me, email me, text me, whatever!

Hey brother,

As far as I know there is not any kind of RSVP. I think anyone that wishes to pay their respects to the family is welcome. I think the more pilots that come in full uniform to honor them the better. I will unfortunately not be able to make to Joe's memorial service, but I will be attending Marvin's the next day. I have never been to a memorial service for anyone except family before, so I don't know if there is a protocol. But I plan on just looking as sharp and professional as I can in full uniform and I know of several of Colganites who are planning on doing the same.

Hope this helps!

It does - and I look forward to meeting you there sir. I've already rounded up some of my guys, and I'll be sending out some more info tonight when I have a chance. Let me know if there are any changes to the plans too, or just updates.

would anyone like to go up to the one in Buffalo with me? We can travel up there and split a car rental or something

I attended the funeral of a close friend years ago. Our airline at the time was very small. All the pilots attended in uniform and the family wanted it that way.

On another note. Ask your MEC chairmen to work with the company to solicit volunteers to work on their day off so that close friends may attend. We had so many volunteers cover assigned flying that some werent even needed. Your fellow pilots will step up to the plate. Im sorry for your loss.
