Sounds like an average day from November-April from where I'm from.

O the beauty of being off... Just went sledding at the park and spent time with the lady and dogs enjoying the view. It's a shame it takes a "snow storm" to make memphis look nice. That being said I can only imagine the IROP craziness that is ongoing....

same here! we took the kido out to shelby farms, they have a pretty good hill there, and sent him down with a tube a couple of times. we stopped at the store on our way back in and you would have thought a hurricane was coming. no batteries, no bread, no milk, we got the few things we needed and got out of there as soon as we could.

Next time you head this way let me know. I literally live at the shelby farms dog park... As in it's a 1 minute walk and both my labs are always rearing to go!

For a place with 0 trained de-icers, no way of clearing roads/runways/taxi-ways, and the amazing ability for all the rampers to be "sick" when the "storm team coverage" starts on the local news it becomes a big deal around here. In all honesty I couldn't go to out even if I wanted to- my driveway is an ice rink and the roads leading out (and down a hill with a turn) won't work either. We must wait for the melting tomorrow!
