Default A380 - For Those Who Aspire to Fly One

Here is a really cool 360° view of the A380 flight deck for the regional guys who might aspire to fly one.

You mean major pilots aren't allowed to look at it, or none of them aspire to fly it?

Two cupholders for each pilot. I'd fly it just for that.

I probably have a better chance at flying the 380 rather than what I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO FLY... How about a Corsair, a Nieuport 28 or maybe the Fokker Tri-plane,,,, real rotary's of course!

Ok, cool points on the heads up display, and Im sure AB is selling it as a safety inovation, so why then only one, is the FO better at landing than the captain...oh already answered my own question

Ok im being a smart asterisk.....just wondering the logic, of one, not two, especially in what is supposed to be the most technologically advanced aircraft out there...

I believe the logic is that really the HUD is only needed for near 0/0 landings... Normal procedure at most airlines call for Captains to fly/land extremely low visibility approaches any way (see CATII at your regional)... hence if it was needed chances are the CA would be flying it any way. The technology is expensive so its not worth putting two in.

...if you are a regional pilot, keep "aspiring" all career long.
