Default Mesa....Buy baby BUY!!!!

ok, so we in the office have been watching the Mesa stock act for a while. We decided to start buying into this stock when it was down at $.04 and now is showing $.14 (as of the time of the post).

Also heard that while Delta is in court with Mesa, they are also kicking Comair out of CVG and moving Mesa there.

My question is, why would you do this to someone you are sueing if you didnt think the case was going to go bad against you (Delta loses...)..

sooooooooo, BUY BABY BUY!!

take it for what it is worth, but you guys need to get in on some of this action.

I know there are the Mesa haters out there, and personally I dont care what you think of the airline, I just think you stand to make some money in this deal!!!

good luck!

Jeff

1. Never get involved in a land war in Asia.
2. Never go up against a Sicillian when death is on the line.
3. Never take investment advice from a pilot.

Delta is moving mesa to cvg because they intend to shrink CVG, moving Comair to JFK because Comair is a reliable carrier and they intend to grow JFK. If/when delta wins the court battle they will drop mesa and your penny stock will be worth just that....a penny.

LOL! No doubt about it.....

That being said, MESA is (ironically) one of two moves on which I currently have a holding gain.

You have a better shot making money by investing in ENRON then MESA...

So you've made 20 bucks of your investment and you're a genius?

Everyone who knows anything about investing knows its not a short term game. My advice to you, take your 20 dollars, buy yourself a nice dinner on the road and run. Because in the long term mesa's stock will continue to suffer.

MESA - Mesa Air Group, Inc. - Google Finance

Look at this chart... even though your stock has gained in the last few weeks since you've bought it, in reality the gain is marginal compared to the stock performance over a year, just because its gained 10 cents doesn't mean it won't plummet back down in the next day or two. You'll notice throughout the year that there are several "peaks" in the chart, but the general trend is down ward.

I dunno, maybe you're right, maybe by some miracle Mesa will win against delta in court on some technicality. But if you look at the facts, in all reality mesa should lose. And if they lose in court and go bankrupt your stock will be worth nothing. Granted you'll only be out 8 bucks, but other people who may listen to your advice may not be as lucky.

Finally look at this analysis of the stock from MSN money:

StockScouter Stock Rating System - Mesa Air Group Inc (MESA) - MSN Money

Mesa Air Group Inc, a micro-cap company in the transportation sector, is expected to underperform the market over the next six months with very high risk.
Now MSN money may not be the most reliable source, but use whatever online investing service you may subscribe to, and find their analysis of the stock, and it will tell you much the same story.
