Longest time in a pool?
 

Sorry could not type complete tittle due to length.

My question, is what is the longest time someone spent in a pool?
I was hired last Apr by one airline and in June by another, placed in a pool by both. Got an email from one of them saying i am till in the pool.

Honestly i am not expecting a call anytime soon or anything like that.
I am just curious what the longest time you guys have heard of someone swimming ???

A guy I had flown with sometime ago said he was in the SkyWest pool years ago for upwards of 18 months...

I'd have to say about 4 hours. I start to get wrinkly fingers after awhile....:rolleyes:

9 months so far... with no light at the end of the tunnel.

Like the first poster., I am hired swimming in eagle and comairs pools since April and may respectfully. Still CFIing and have been for 2.5 yrs. Both HR's said they will start hiring from the pool first whenever that may be. With both F'ing...not seeing it till 2010

For me:

15 months so far for XJET (Dec. 07)
12 months so far for RJET (March 08)

Fellas (and ladies) there is light at the end of the tunnel...however, the light may take a little longer to get to than we all thought:rolleyes:. Keep your spirits up and thank your lucky stars if you still have a job (even if it is just flight instructing!). It could be worse...you could be without a job.

Since May 08 with PSA, got hired Jan 08

Going on a year in the SkyWest pool. Will probably be giving up 3 years of seniority at Mesa if and when I get called if I decide to make the jump.

That's one helluva commitment. I'm impressed.

I was put in the ACA pool in 2002 and finally hired by Compass in 2007...
