Anybody stuck in a NY crashpad today?

Nope, but I am furloughed and working my "meantime" job this morning. Happy Easter

I am a senior lineholder sitting reserve on Easter...go figure

I'm on reserve too and got the best call ever. Morning ready reserve tomorrow. :rolleyes:

middle of my 2 and a half week vacation...thank god for trip touching.

All I got for Easter was a CDO :(

Kickin' it at home with a ham in the oven. I still can't believe they let me take a vacation day.

I'm shocked they were so easy with Vacation as well...of course there was no way I'd be working anyway...my brother is shipping out to Afghanistan in two weeks. Haven't seen him in a year and likely won't until next.

I'm in a hotel in Birmingham Alabama. I had Burger King with some train drivers from CSX.

Stuck in Cleveland... Ordering pizza... Sucks...

Surprisingly, the Hyatt Place. Its about 10 minutes from the airport.

Furloughed but, at home in Seattle with the family......Not shabby at all!

Sitting reserve out of base in Indy. There is NOTHING around the Radisson Airport. Except the deserted old terminal.

Sitting in a hotel in CYOW looking at bid packets for next month. Talk about depressing. I usually i get pretty blue while working holidays but I'm not too upset about missing the easter family dinner dramatics. Plus i had an 8 hour credit day plus the 4 hours of holiday pay. So winwin this year. Now i just have to get memorial day weekend, 4th of july and it will be smooth sailing for 2009. I do have to work for the derby though and am not happy about it.

I somehow got out of Easter. I also got out of working the past 8 days but got paid. Sick time + recurrent + regular days off+ getting furloughed and don't care anymore = Not in the crash pad today.

the Mrs. had to work so I hung around the house and did a whole lot of nothing.

I'm sitting in a hotel waiting for the Passover Bunny to bring me candy.
