Hi,

I am just beginning to apply to some of the well known airlines such as SkyWest, ExpressJet, ASA, Mesa, ameriflight etc. I have learned that upgrading to captain is the most important thing to go for. But what makes the upgrade faster? for example, I heard some time ago that if I was lucky enough to get hired with SkyWest, that I should go with the Brasilia 120 in stead of the CRJ because they fly more therefore there is less reserve to do, the upgrade is quick to captain(didn’t specify how long) and so on. And more happy pilots.

Is there any advice for express jet or and ameriflight for quick upgrades?

Also, what is the most important think that line pilots are working towards, in regards to upgrades or flight time goes?

As far as I know Ameriflight is single pilot 135. You can play captian and tell yourself to bring up the gear.
