SkyHigh How many newspaper stories have you read (well I must admit I live in a Navy town, so I probably read more!) about the guy returning from overseas who buys his house from the $$ he saved while off fighting for a year in IRAQ? Also, that being said, it's not like they can come home, pack food for 12 months, and then live off of that. As pilots, I can pack enough for a 4-day and bring it with me, it costs me <$20. Not bad. If you don't spend the $$, it's income. I don't know how you can look at it as NOT being income. It's coming in, not going out. I have more important things to pay for, rather than buy expensive airport food. |

If you wish to consider it as pay then why don't you eat top ramen for the next three days and pay yourself the savings over living like a real human. You can't consider Per Deim as pay. Perhaps you should subtract for crash pads, airport cars, student loans, and for the opportunity cost of what you could be doing in life. SKyHigh |
